I've cleaned the air filter, but the coils still frost up. It's not the room temp, so I'm guessing the thing is playing out or the coils have gotten dirty behind the filter. It's 9 years old if that helps.

I've always wondered about this. There must be some reason for it.

I'm asking because I see many questions by new veggies asking for recopies, because they eat only boca burgers, etc.

I have hundreds of good recopies collected from news groups, veggie web sites and forums like this, but I also have a nice collectoin of veggie cookbooks.

I'm a 52yo vegetarian, so I've been around before the internet.

I ask this question because many on here are quick to say that animals are off limits when it comes to testing or training medical professionals.

I ask this question because I see a lot of questions and answers talking about: veggie burgers, veggie hot dogs, etc. I eat them once and a while, but they are expensive and over processed, so most the time I eat less processed veggie foods.

I've been a vegetarian since my early 20's I'm 52yo now. I stopped eating meat mostly because I never liked the taste. I'm all for the humane treatment of animals, but I don't believe that they should have equil rights with people. I follow a mostly vegan diet, but like eggs and some dairy from time to time.

I've noticed to many posts on this forum like:

"I wanna be a vegetarian but I hate fruit and vegetables."

"I wanna be a vegetarian but I hate beans, and soy."

"Can I loose a lot of weight on a vegetarian diet?"

If makes me wonder if some young people are using a vegetarina diet to mask an eating disorder.

BTW: I'm a 52yo vegetarian myself.

or get offended by what they read hear? I know a number are trolls, but it makes one wonder about the rest.

I just saw the question about matches and wondered.

I know of "Raising Vegetarian Children," by - Joanne Stepaniak; Any other good ones out there? Cookbooks for children would be interesting too.

I don't have children of my own but I know of several V/v parents who have raised their children veggie.

My book collection is getting old and I'd like to update it. A few of the books are probably older then some of you :-)

I'm lacto-ovo so I can eat some things, at your mainstream restaurant. We used to have a vegan restaurant but it went out of business. I've heard that Burger king has veggie burgers now, but have never asked. I'm just wondering what everyones experiences have been with eathing out.

Just wondering how others feel about using animal byproducts? I have a few leather belts and shoes, but I would feel uncomfortable in a leather jacket.

Then there's the whole argument about not using any products that are tested on animals, etc.
