What if Hitler had won WWII and his empire dominated the world?

"Please don't give me some, "this would never happen" answer, just give me what you would think life would be like."

How about Hitler never planned that to happen, wasn't even a thought in his head.

Hitler's design was a New World Order, Germany occupying the entire globe is a physical impossibility.

That's why there was Vichy France, and why he offered Britain peace terms after the Fall of France happy to co-exist with the Brits and the British Empire, etc.

The German forces quickly consolidated their positions. They brought in infantry, established communications and anti-aircraft defences, established an air service with mainland France and rounded up British servicemen on leave.

Day-to-day running of island affairs became the responsibility of a Controlling Committee, chaired by Ambrose Sherwill. Scrip (occupation money) was issued in Guernsey to keep the economy going. German military forces used their own scrip for payment of goods and services.

The German authorities changed the Channel Island time zone from GMT to CET to bring the islands into line with continental Europe, and the rule of the road was also changed to driving on the right.

Hitler did not want world domination. He simply wanted a Europe dominated by Germany. Even then his goal was not to get all of Europe under his control, Hitler wanted to unified all Germanic people living in Europe into one strong nation. This would become "Greater Germany". He let his ally Italy to get most of south eastern Europe and North Africa.

Hitler probably would have still died because he had health problems. The successor to his Third Reich would have been chaotic as no one really shared Hitler's mentality or his interest in the Occult. Basically, the world's governments would be toppled after Hitler's death. Probably another world war.

There are lots of books which speculate as to what would have become of the world if Hilter had won the second world war.
