The elite tier of point guards in the league are comprised of Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo, and Russell Westbrook. D-Will is having something of a down year, and Rose is injured, but basically we know that these guys are at the top of the food chain in the point guard position due to their talent, skillset, and age.

Holiday on the other hand, is having an excellent breakout year. However, he needs to cut down on the turnovers. If he keeps this up he'll become part of the elite in another year or so.

As a Sixers fan, I want to say yes, but no. Not yet, at least. I see him finishing the year with 18.0 PPG 8.0 APG and 4.0 RPG. Those are good numbers, but if he can average 20-25 PPG and 9-10 APG, he will be elite.

He's played games this season where he looks elite, and he's had to carry the Sixers on his back (look at their record when Jrue hasn't played). I think next year he will become a household name and be mentioned with Chirs Paul, Rajan Rondo, and Deron Williams.

I would not say he is an elite point guard(top 5) but he is a very good point guard this year averaging 18 points and 9 assists per game. Good 3 point shooting and FT % and solid FG% but he needs to raise his A/T ratio but lowering his turnovers. That is the only problem in his game right now. And he is a very good defender who can guard 2s in a pinch.

He's not elite yet but he is developing. Give him a year or 2 and he's going to be an elite star

He leads the NBA in turnovers, He`s good but not great above average point guard, wont make an all star this year.
