when is the best time to hunt squirrle and what is the best bait to bait traps?
i just started hunting these little devils they have been eating my house away just wondering is it illegal to hunt them in IL and if not whats the limit do you need a foid card if your using a air rifle to kill them and can i use this as a job to kill them for money for people who don't like them

Illinois?
It is legal to hunt small game with an air rifle.
Shooting?
It may not be legal if you live within the city limits.
FOID card?
As of last year, you no longer need a FOID card for a .177 caliber air rifle.
Best time?
Sunrise is probably the "best" time. But squirrels a active critters.
Bait?
