As a web developer I don't like Internet Explorer because is not following the web standard, poor performance and no privacy.
Chrome (from Google) is a good and fast browser (using the Safari engine) but I don't like the way it use the cache (memory) and all those personal informations given to Google without acknowledging me.
Safari (Apple) is an outstanding browser, for graphics and performance is simply the best but on PC (windows) doesn't perform as well as on Apple.
Firefox is the best for all its add-on and tools, you have full control of everything and is fast!
Final verdict:
If you have an Apple the best choice is Safari
if you have a PC on windows the best choice is Firefox.

There is no such thing as a best Internet browser. There may be a preferred browser (based on market share) but no browser is considered the best.
I prefer Chrome over IE, but that doesn't make it the best.
As of 2012 IE remains the most used browser followed closely by Firefox and then Chrome

I use 6 different web browsers. If I had to choose just one
I would choose Google Chrome. Because it is the fastest
web browser.

Google. They have the most money and software engineers and the browser is superior. In fact, just like Kleenex and Xerox, when people say search for something on the Internet, they often say "Google it"

I like Google Chrome. It uses the least amount of memory (so it runs the fastest!). It is quite customizable and you can download cool apps like angry birds, right on your browser. Also it will often tell you of files that it thinks are malicous software and tells you of files that can harm your computer.
