why aren't jobs guaranteed if we need them for money to live?

    Good question. I think it's because the ruling class likes to have a segment of the population in poverty to scare the crap out of the middle class.

    That makes sense, doesn't it?? If one wants to work, they should be able to, but in the current economy, it's strictly a crapshoot. I've been looking for a job in my stinkhole of a hometown for three years, interview after interview, no luck. I am past ready to hang it up. I have a college degree. I have loads of experience. No drinking or drug problems; don't smoke. Cannot land a job, period. Am quite sorry that the Mayan apocalypse thing did not work out; it was an ideal solution.

    Because if jobs were guaranteed money would become worthless.
