More Guns makes a more frightened America. this land of supposed freedom lives in fear of threat from outside and from within.

The 'tard at the head of the NRA spoke today about praying that a "good" guy with a gun comes to your house when you are broken into. despite excessive freedom to purchase and own weapons home burglaries are rampant and increasing so guns are not a deterrent.

perhaps what Americans need to do more of (if they are so desperate and needy to maintain their rights to own weapons) is pray that everyday they when they kiss their kids on the forehead and send them to school that they do not come home in a body bag.

Every school shooting can be laid firmly on the doorstep of the NRA , its leadership and all its members.

Christie is a genuine conservative, not a right-wing jackass like the Tea Party trash. And he is almost certainly not going to run for president as long as they are dominating the GOP. Christie is not a spineless jellyfish like Romney who sold his soul to Grover Nrquist, the Koch Bros. or NRA.

I disagree with you and Gov. Christie. It is the only way to provide protection right now to the children. If there is a problem they will call the police who will be armed and possibly too late. If you have a retired policeman guarding the school it would dissuade anyone from even trying.

Actually their are about 10000 + officers in schools around the nation already... That is ARMED officers and because the NRA encourages more of it they are the root of all evil. Liberal stupidity is a bottomless pit

You know, in undergrad I went to one of 7 colleges in the country that allowed guns on campus if you had a permit, and I personally knew that there was in excess of 400 people every single day on campus carrying a gun. Despite this, there has been no shootings, there has been no violent crime, and no gun crimes even to this day.

I'm starting to respect that huge tub of lard.
