Wow, 15 minutes passed the end of the world: How you all doing?

Yes, isn't that amazing, we survived. We are survivors. Leave your whereabouts, identity and your next move. We have to stick together now. Be aware of zombies or annoying relatives. Treat the last ones nice, they are humans too. Don't let zombies in, they bite and have smelly feet.

While I know what you're implying, let me remind you that not ALL of us actually made it. The world ended for somewhere between 100,000 and 150,000 people yesterday. Many of them smugly believed the world wouldn't end either, and quite a few probably left a lot of suddenly not-so-happy friends and family behind. Maybe today is your day, so try to keep your wits about you, just in case you're given a chance to sidestep it.

For me the world ended 15 and a half hours ago

Ill b honest. First I kept th e kids home from school without lying. We live in Ct and with the newtown tragedy being so fresh I felt I could tell the school my feelings. Then we did crafts and played video games. Then I left for work feeling guilty that I would be with other peoples kids instead of my own. Then felt bad for resenting them... got home for 9:30 and made sure my babies were asleep before midnight (just incase) and stayed up to make sure they werent alone. Now I get to rest :) no vodka was needed. Trying to keep on my toes!

Back at work. Hoped I'd get out of this 5am shift, but once again I've been let down by the prophets.

every year on december 31 my calender runs out. at first i panic. then i buy another calender and everything is good again
