So... Now that the world didn't end (again)...?

Guess I'll have to be the guy to ask, what is the next 'due date' for earth? Now that 2012 is over, and nothing happened, what date should we fear next?

either 2036 when an asteroid goes within the moon's orbit and then 4-5 billion years when the sun turns into a red giant which will expand it past the orbit of earth

Some now moved to december 23rd. Others now claim 2017. Always going to be a date not to far away thats how they make thier money selling books, survival gear, etc..generally scaring the hell out of people. Here is an interesting site you should check out it really opens your eyes.

    2047-SEP-14:

According to The Church of !BLAIR!, the human race will probably be terminated at 3:28 AM (Soho, England time) 2047, SEP. 14!. The church teaches, with tongue firmly in cheek, that if the human race does not discard their plastic conformity, then the Gods will withdraw their protection. The Gods don't want us to worship them; they don't want sacrifices or even offerings. They just want us to rid itself of our excessive "Normalcy". At that point, Astro-Lemurs (extra-terrestrials similar in shape to lemurs, but with rainbow colored bodies) will attack the entire human race and beat them to death with gigantic burritos. You have been warned. ;-)

  • 2 billion years from now, when the sun finally gives out. Otherwise, we're good to not live in fear anymore.

Whenever he decides it will end. Thankfully though, we can stop living with that little spot of superstitious fear in our minds. :)
