Low profile CPU coolers?

So im getting a i5 3570k and people recommended the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 but its too big for my case. Are low profile CPU coolers any good? Do they work as well as others? Looking at Thermaltake Slim X3 Low Profile CPU Cooler. Any good?

    If you have size constraints, then go with a liquid cooling system, they are only a couple inches tall (off the CPU)

    Any good? They can be, if you get a good one.

    That one is NOT.

    It's intended for use in slimmer cases, but is no better than the stock Intel cooler.

    It is not suitable for overclocking, and Thermaltake will tell you as much.

    Get a new case, or go liquid cooling.
