Can you relate to my misery?

Boy, oh boy! I really like playing the violin. I practice, and practice ALL DAY long but I never get any better! =(

    First - unless you LOVE music, quit wasting you time with it. But if you can't imagine your life without being able to play, then you're on the right path.

    Quit worrying about getting better, and start thinking about making MUSIC :-) If all you're trying to do is get the notes right, you'll never GET any better. It's about expression, not notes, so start playing like you MEAN it :-)

    If you love music, don't give up. If it was easy, EVERYBODY would do it.
