How many people agree that based on some questions asked here some people should never own any dog?

I've always thought that roughly half the people who own dogs shouldn't be allowed to own anything more challenging than a gold fish. This site just reinforces that.

Oh...absolutely agree. I fear for, and feel so sorry for some of the dogs owned by some of the people that post on here. The level of ignorance regards dog care is appalling.

But at least some of them DO genuinely want some help and are willing to listen to the more experienced members. Its the ones that THINK they know it all and obviously don`t that are the biggest problem.

When dogs are sold to the ignorantees, its the poor dogs that suffer. In my opinion there should be tougher laws on dog ownership and also on dog breeding. Jmo.

I agree. People on here are completely retarded and shouldn't be able to own a pet, reproduce, or go out in public to show people how stupid they are for that matter. And then on the other hand, there are some who are probably great owners and give people excellent advice.:)

Agree, given the fact that the number one reason Dobermans are returned to the breeder or owner contact rescue wanting to relieve themselves of what has become a “problem” dog and make it someone else’s responsibility to deal with, ignorance about what dogs need in general and breed specific traits is rife.

I agree 1,000% with Julie. Having pets require not only a certain degree of intelligence but something known as common sense. Too many people aee substituting electronic computers for.the original computer that are supposed to be between their ears. I find it amazing that people like that are actually able to care for themselves on a daily basis.

I find it quite scary !!!! especially when I see some of the breeds wanted !!!
