Please help! Should I be worried or just calm down?

The past few weeks (about 3) I've noticed weird discharge. Its brown and sometimes has a smell. I have no itching or pain. I just finished my second pack of birth control (microlite). I had unprotected sex 8 months ago so maybe its caused by the pill? I said I would give it three months and see if it goes away. What could it be?

    I'm not sure, and although you may get a variety of answers here I think the safest thing to do would be to get checked out by your doctor.

    sometimes birth control does cause break through bleeding.
