Helpppppppppppppppppppppp?

In what cases is subjectivity (bias) a good thing? Like we know how be subjective or biased can lead to inaccurate information or whatever, but when is being subjective good? when is it necessary or preferred? in what cases any examples? HELP PLEASE???????/

    social norms are subjective, in that they are not universal; however, subjectively adhering to those norms facilitates functioning in that society
