Is it possible to get into Brown University without having taken two SAT Subject tests or will they disregard your application?

Well its required... they probably won't consider your app complete until they have ALL the paperwork. So if you never send in your subject tests, no one will ever look at your app =(
Think of it this way... you're applying to a very selective school, and competing against literally thousands of other highly qualified students. Why would they pick someone who didn't do the tests over someone who did well on the required tests?

i'm sorry, yet a three.0 won't get you into Brown. the college commonly used in basic terms 9% of its applicants this previous 12 months, so which you will wager how very selective admissions are there. or maybe interior the adventure that your GPA have been a 4.0, you'll be able to might desire to interview. Brown's scholars have the two very extreme GPA's and attempt scores. no remember if their grades and scores have been particularly decrease than prevalent (and that i choose for to recommend "particularly"), they presented something unusual, something very particular, that made them stand proud of the group. you'll be able to might desire to be a printed novelist and Olympic-element athlete born to Tibetan father and mom to make the admissions officers think of of roughly overlooking your mediocre grades. aside from, the admissions officers might desire to verify applicants can cope with the artwork at an Ivy college. a three.0 would not recommend which you will qualify on that score. interior the adventure that your attempt scores are extreme and your grades in basic terms so-so, meaning which you have not been working up on your skill -- which you have been lazy and UNambitious -- and admissions officers do not choose to artwork out that.

It's unlikely you'd be admitted to Brown, as it is a requirement to take 2 SAT Subject tests. They would likely put your application in the incomplete pile. You can still take SAT tests in January (sign up by 12/28) and have them count towards admission, but you must have them sent directly to Brown from CollegeBoard, you cannot look at them first as they won't meet the deadline. You can sign up for this when you sign up for the SAT II's, and use your free score report credit. (The score reports are sent in batches to the colleges, and it can take 3+ weeks.)

The SAT II's tend to be difficult and taken by top students, and the scores depend on what other test-takers score, you will want to study specifically for the test. Test prep books are available at CollegeBoard, bookstores, and Amazon.com.
These SAT II's are available in January.
