Relationship advice please?

so theres this guy ive been dating for a year now.. and over the year ive made lots of mistakes... talking to my ex, flirting with a guy I had relations with before we were together (he saw the texts) and talking to some of his friends... I don't know why. I guess I just never realized what I had when I had it ... he eventually just left me... but he still comes back, he still tells me he loves me ( and only sometimes says its different) he still kisses me but wont go any farther... its like I know he wants to leave me but he still wants to stay because he loves me... now that hes gone, I realize how bad I messed up... I wouldn't ever do it again...Id do anything for him and what we have is ridiculously special.. we never fought once while we together .. we're like best friends because we're so close. we really are an amazing couple and id love to be with him again... How do I help him put aside what happened and get him back?? I cant change what I did, but I really want to fix it . I don't want him hurt anymore by it and I want him to forgive me... ive tried everything.. right now I haven't talked to him in a week (the longest we've ever went without talking.. I figured he needed space) im not talking to anyone else at all... im just waiting on him .. does anyone know what I should do?
