Good Dog Breed (second dog)?
I want to get another dog, my first is a poodle something mix (kind of a mini goldendoodle)
anyway I need a dog that has these requirements...
-Affectionate
-Low-Medium Exercise (walks around block and a little play time)
-Good with Children (Older Children 10-18)
-No to Low shed
-Preferably one that is easy to train
-Preferably one with personality
-Preferably one that doesnt have many problems (friends dog has drool issues) ;D either way I would love him/her just the same
Know a breed or Mix that is good for those?
I know I could google this, as I have. I want your opinion and preferably from personal experience. I do have a few Ideas ;D

Sight hounds like the greyhound, pharaoh hound, and ibizan hound sounds good. They must be kept on a leash at all times though. You could also look into getting another poodle. There is the Italian greyhound if the others are too big, but the get cold VERY easily and need to wear sweaters. If you are looking for easy to train, I would avoid any other type of hound, they are easily distracted by their nose. Hope I helped

A great dog for this criteria would be a rescue ex-racing greyhound!
They just need a 15 minute walk twice a day, despite common belief that they are full of energy, my greyhound sleeps like 20 hours a day haha.
They're great with children, plus since they're age 2 or 3 when you adopt them, you can select a dog with the personality you require.
They don't shed and have no undercoat so are great for those with allergies or asthma.
My greyhound is the perfect pet and the most affectionate dog I've ever met, I really encourage you to consider giving an ex-racer a second chance at life :)

Its quite hard to work out, i had my first family dog on my 11th Birthday and it was a Golden Retriever, and then later on when i was 15 we got another dog, a Border Collie. Now, im 23, and i live on a large property and i own 2 Australian Cattle Dogs x Golden Retrievers, and i cant reccomend that for what u r looking for. Golden Retrievers are well behaved dogs and good family pets for all ages ive always thought, if they have the right training. But Border Collies on the other hand, are a bit of a handful.. ours ripped and chewed up every shoe and lounge chair...... If you r looking for a low maintenence dog i might suggest a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, they are playful dogs and dont need to be walked as much.......... Good Luck, and Merry Christmas xx

Rottweiler are great family dogs. My kids have been raised with mine for seven years now. This is an easily trainable breed does not drool low shed and great personalities. He goes for a walk at night and is loving. Most rotties I have known are great with kids of all ages.

Why not just google this question? It would be more reliable and quicker. Get a chow chow.
