Go with the blue tongue skink! They are really friendly and you can get them to be really tame, especially if you have a 10 year old that I'm guessing will want to play with it. Also, water dragons are a little less friendly so it's probably a safer option too. My blue tongues are really good with kids and they are really easy to look after so I would defiantly recommend them!

    Have fun with it! :)

well a blue tongue skink only needs a 4ft viv. a water dragon needs a terrarium thats at least

6 feet tall, 3 to 4 feet deep and 4 to 6 feet long

you should go for the chinese water dragon.they are great pets and they dont grow more than 3 feet. they are really cute unlike the blue toungued skink . chinese water dragons are also easier to find then the blue toungued skink. i would definitely go with the chinese water dragon

I would recommend a BTS. Chinese language water dragons are very hard to preserve, the stipulations have got to be best, it is not a newbie lizard. The weight-reduction plan is easier and simpler to preserve. Excellent luck with your decision. :)
