Is my sunset platy pregnant?
I want to know if my fish is pregnant... she looks bigger then my other platy but I wanna know if she's just fat or pregnant I don't see a gravid spot :/

She looks young. She appears to have started producing eggs. In about a month with a male, she should be about ready. She will get big and wide..... her gravid spot should get somewhat dark but not black because of her coloring...

I've never seen a gravid spot on any of my live bearers. She looks pregnant and she will probably "square-out" as she gets closer to letting out her fry. I recommend you let her release her fry inside the tank without a breeder trap of sorts. Have fun! :)

in many circumstances in case you have a woman and male platy she IS pregnant. era. one hundred%! yet once you purely have the two she could be so fully under pressure that she is reabsorbing her litters. in many circumstances one male would have various women to unfold his "affections" on yet whilst there is fullyyt one she will have the means to be puzzled continuously. the two get extra women or possibly pass him to a various tank for awhile and that i think of you have got the babies you're wanting!
