I'm in love with someone who doesn't trust me?
I am in love with an amazing person. His smile just makes me melt. I can always just listen to his voice, it soothes me. His charisma is second to none. He's my perfect, I love him.
The problem is with trust. I am a very honest person and have never lied to him. He knows this to be true. But every time a situation arises he automatically things the worst of me and I have to go about proving myself. On the other-hand he lies on many occasions or just avoids many situations.
It would be easier not to be in love but its not something I can help. I love him.
This is my first gay relationship. Had to come to terms with who I am. He is not perfect just my perfect. He his a kind, gentle person but guarded due to being hurt in the past.

He has to work on his own trust issues. Its nothing you can change for him. No matter what you do or what you say will change that. You could show him in many ways but if he has trust issues...well he has to get help with that or you just have to learn to deal with it. Offer to get couples counseling with him to make it less threatening or just flat out tell him his issues are starting to affect you.

Someone who is lying to you and refusing to trust you is a BAD PERSON TO BE WITH.
He is not perfect.
Get over him.
He is not going to change, he is more likely to hurt you and ruin your ability to trust -- which is what that sort of person enjoys doing.
Break up and get over him. You aren't the first one to fall for a con man.
