Does anybody have a simple but good crab cake recipe they would like to share?

I have lobster and crab meat that I want to make into cakes for Christmas eve. Can anybody help?

    If you google Highlands Grill crab cake recipe you will find a very good one that is easy. It's a hit with the locals in Birmingham, AL I'd send it to you but I can only open it in Google Books and I can't get it out of my Google account.

    Mine is sort of "touchy feely" but here goes:

    Start with about a pound of crab, (works with any kind of shredded seafood) add 1 beaten egg then add Stove Top Herb dressing mix a little bit at a time until the mix will retain a golf ball shape. Melt butter in a heavy skillet, place the balls in & flatten with a spatula or fork. Fry till golden on each side.

    I often add a tsp of Old Bay & a 1/2 cup of finely chopped celery. Optional, I usually serve with a green salad & remulade.

    picked over crab meat lump is right, leg next suitable and canned is wonderful some lb for 6 hefty muffins, toss gently with mayo purely some tablespoons, upload a squeeze of juice from a million/2 a lemon. upload old Bay Seasoning some tsp. Roll your formed patties in clean bread crumbs or finely overwhelmed saltine cracker crumbs. Fry in a frying pan over medium warmth until browned on your style , turn and brown. serve with tartar sauce or your different in demand sauce.
