What happens when a person is shot in the brain?

Other than the person dying or having severe brain damage, what happens to the tissues of the brain and the skull? What happens to the rest of the body? Does a person start bleeding from their nose (like the dead soldiers in the Civil War photographs)? Does it cause brain trauma (This one might be a bit dumb to ask)?

First of all, i would like to state that many people get shot in the head and survive (it all depends on where you get hit), and is also one of the quickest ways to die (not that im supporting it).

First o all the bullet will enter your head ripping appart the hair, skin and muscle and any brain matter in its way. Within a few microseconds the bullet will have reached and smashed into one of eight cranial bones engineered to keep your brain safe. It will then continue through to the connective tissue and fibrous membranes (that act as internal cushioning), which are all split open just before the bullet dives into your cerebrospinal fluid. Before you know it, the bullet dives into the pre-frontal cortex, and then its all gone, memories, your ability to think and reason, what makes you, you- its all gone. Within a matter of seconds life ceases.

relies upon on the gun and how distant the shot became fired as to if the bullet is going via or no longer if shot interior the backbone you would be paralysed from the neck down in case you survived and the sensation is apparantly a searing incomprehensibly warm discomfort as though the bullet melted your flesh leaving your feeling like its on hearth till the discomfort turns into insufferable and you pass out or the shortcoming of blood leaves you numb or leads to your demise
