ground fresh nixtamal?

I am trying to make tamales and want to be authentic in doing so. I have tried using Maseca dry corn flour. I want the fresh wet ground masa corn dough. Any one know where I might find it? I am in central Florida and expectI will have to order from some place closer to Mexico.

just go to a mexican market and ask for masa para tamales sin preparar. you can then season it with chile and spices yourself. all the mexican women i know do it this way and it's considered as authentic as making the masa yourself.

    Source(s): mexican women :)
