I miss him so much please help me what he's doing?

I've known this guy for about four years, last summer we started dating. We were really good friends and I really liked him. About a month later he just started going out with another girl, he ignored me, never told me that he was seeing another girl or he was sorry. He poked me through the relationship, and to this day, he still pokes me. I poke back but I poke back about a week later while he pokes back a day later. He hasn't talked to me since July, we've say hi now and again.

I really miss him as a friend. I've done everything to get over him and at one stage I thought I was. It's been five months since we last talked. I don't want to be the one to make the conversation because he never replied to my text in July (sounds pathetic). I just want him to talk to me first and get an apology just so I know he still wants to be friends.

What is he doing with these pokes and not talking to me at all?
