My dog ..... what should I do?

Ny dog ate raisins and her breath smells like ammonia what should I do?

Oh yeah I took her to the Emergency clinic she is over night on IVs and getting blood work it's 10:00 and I'm-waiting o hear form the Vet about what her latest lab results are because the first set did not come back like her would have expected. My other dog is beside herself missing her friend and I can 'hardly see to type as I have an eye infection that had me in the ER yesterday. meanwhile my sister dog is coughing and her vet is having her call back with regular updates but think she is fine as as long as she is eating and drinking and defecating fine. I just don't know how ;to relax enough to get the rest I 'll need to deal with it all. And some how - all I could think about were all the "my dog .what should I do" questions. so what should I do?

Pray, and work on holding on, you've done the best you can. You took the dog to the ER vet. All you can do know is hope for the best and pray. It's hard, I know, but there is nothing more you can do.

Raisins are very toxic to dogs but if your dog is at the vet, he's in the best hands and in the best place he could be right now and I'm sure the vet will do anything that they can to help your dog get through this. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot that you can do other than wait to see what the vet says. Good Luck and Merry Christmas!
