***With your choice from 1.), what spelling of 2.) would you pair with it? 
*** And if the nickname was to be Kate, would you spell it Cate or Kate if you chose the spelling Catherine?

Catherine Isabel- Catherine looks softer to me I don't like K's too much. I like the simplicity of Isabel better than Isabelle. 

I would spell it Cate.

And i would spell it Kate even if you spell Catherine like that, because i think Cate looks a bit weird, too much like Cake or Cat.
