Look them up at passmark:
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php
i5-3210M score = 3852
A4-3300M score = 1360
so the i5 is about 3 times faster

The AMD is way cheaper (as it is an 'entry level' processor designed for laptops), but the i5 is much faster.

Intel completely outclasses AMD right now. Price:performance ratio on Intel is MUCH better unless you need a cheap setup for 24/7 video encoding in which case AMD isn't too bad... but for general/game use AMD's current cpus are trash.

Depends on what you want it for.
I am a gamer so i am a big fan of intel.
however intel costs a bit more money than AMD but i think intel blows AMD out of the water when it comes to performance.

the 'm' suggests its for a laptop, before i say which one is better i highly recommend you get a desktop for gaming, and not a laptop.. trust me you will regret it.. it heats up faster and is just not made for gaming unless you only like W.O.W.
the i5 is better obviously, but get a desktop!!
