I need a color code for stereo wires to a 98 Ford Escort ZX2.?
All color codes and wire diagrams I have found online do not match. I have blue and orange wires going to the right rear speaker, do not know which is positive/negative. And purple and pink wires to left rear speaker. Need to know colors to front speakers and which is positive/negative. Old connector cut off/missing. Please help.
I appreciate your answer, but I'm trying to avoid doing it the hard way like that if possible. Do you know where I can get color codes and wire diagrams that would be accurate, as all the ones I have found so far online do not match my car.
