Hp g-6 model laptop question?
I asked hp if I could change the hard drive in my laptop an they said no that it would mess up the motherboard bc their all intertwined. it's only 500gb an I wanted to upgrade to a 1tb or 2tb. I know it uses a 2.5" SATA. so what can happen if I do change it?

Nothing. Just make sure you create recovery discs using recovery manager and then you can reinstall factory programs with the operating system.
Replace hard drive, put in 1st recovery cd, and it will walk you through it.
