Where to invest for getting the investment proof quickly?
Which investment vehicle can get an investment proof in not more than a week's time? I need to submit the proof in the first week of January for claiming tax exemption.
Just to add, I live in India.

1. Hope it is meant for claiming tax exemption under Section 80C of IT Act.
2. You can get proof on the same day in case of investment in Fixed Deposit of a bank for 5 years(if payment is made either in cash or by transfer from bank account in the same branch). If payment is made by local cheque drawn on some other branch, you will get proof within a week's time.
3. In case you have opened a PPF A/c, you can get proof on the same date if payment is made in cash. In case payment by a local cheque, you will get proof within a week's time.
