Ugh all these idiots. You have too many variables for one and for 2 trucks run on diesel. The national average for a class 8 diesel is 5.5mpg. Your average truck has a fuel capacity of 250 gallons now then although your average truck has a 250 gallon capacity they only draw about 225 gallons. So take 5.5 and multiply it by 225 and youll get your answer. My tractor has 326 gallons of fuel capacity and a 300 gallon draw and averages about 5 mpg so i can travel about 1400 miles before i hit the danger zone on a good day i can run 1500 before the motor dies and i have to get 10 gallons of diesel to throw in the tanks and a bottle of ether to get it fired up again. Hope this helps.

Good enough. First off, semis in america use diesel fuel, now not fuel. The ordinary long-haul semi has two gas tanks, and with every tank keeping between a hundred and 150 gallons of diesel. A good fee of gasoline consumption for a loaded semi is around 6 miles per gallon (MPG), so the natural semi can run between 1200 and 1800 miles from one replenish. The ordinary entirely loaded semi truck weighs eighty,000 lbs.

the average semi with 2 150 gallon tanks total of 300 gallons , can go about 1500 to 2000 miles .

depending in load , terrain, and make of truck.

farthest i ever drove without buying more fuel was about 2200 miles. but that was without pulling a trailer. just the tractor.

Most diesel trucks get anywhere from 5.5 to as much as 9 MPG. The trucks often carry in excess of 250 gallons of diesel. So it's a math problem. My truck gets 6.25 MPG and I have one 105 gallon fuel tank.

It is impossible to give a definitive answer. There are too many variables. Type of tires, Type of rims, Type of truck, weight of load, whether the truck has air dams and spoilers, whether the truck has skirting or not, summer or winter tires, size of fuel tank(s),terrain, temperature, weather conditions, type of road surface.and the list goes on and on. Bandit O is correct ,almost anyway, most but not all trucks run on diesel, some are gasoline powered, some are propane powered.

Most of these rigs average from 6 to 8 miles per gallon. Most can carry 300 gallons of fuel. At 6 miles per gallon the truck could cover 1,800 miles, at 8 miles per gallon it could go 2,400 miles. Fuel cost from $3.80 to $4.00 per gallon. At $3.80 per gallon it cost $1,140 to fill the tanks. Want to know more, do the math.

Since gas is short for gasoline, the answer is nowhere. Semi-trucks run on diesel fuel.

That depends upon the truck and the load it's carrying. They carry a LOT of fuel.
