i wonder if this Christmas is better then last because you got a divorce?

It all depends upon your outlook and circumstances. Isn't it?

Mine always are and I have been divorced since 1990. Best decision I ever made. My ex-husband never bought me a decent gift, only whatever left over $50 item in the jewelry case at Costco, purchased the day before Xmas Eve. I went around like a complete fool, buying gifts for him and his worthless, ungrateful family and baking cookies/making candy too--in addition to having to work on Xmas and then spend the rest of my day with stupid in-laws when I was exhausted. So, yeah, nowadays I might be alone, but at least I'm no longer someone's personal mule. AND, I can buy anything I want, which these days is hard since I already have everything. (So I donate to charity instead.)

The first one definitely wasn't. A few thereafter weren't anything to cheer about, either. But this one has renewed my holiday spirit and enthusiasm for the future. Hope yours is pleasant as well.

For me? YES! ABSOLUTELY!

For our daughter? NO! Her father's continued bad (addict) behavior has just resulted in his visitation being yanked until further notice. That sucks...it sucks he won't pull it together and it sucks because it hurts our child. So, not a great holiday for my girl.
