there's no way it could ever run max settings with AA on dishonored.

the recommended requirements, what it takes to run it at high-max settings is a gtx 460 or a HD 5850.

your gt520m isn't even half of what is required,so either you forget to click apply when you change the settings to max,or your trolling.

as for why it lags on low settings, the graphics card in your laptop is most likely overheating from the stress of trying to play it,when graphics cards overheat it causes lag and artifacting.

I even have this comparable computing device, comparable problem. i've got tried each and every driving force version and each nonetheless has this problem for me, so as that doesn't seem the problem. i've got seen some comparable subjects met with a reaction alongside with memtest, pointing at defective RAM because of the fact the subject... i've got no longer gotten around to sorting out that yet nonetheless. If I come for the period of something that facilitates me out, i will assist you recognize :P I did merely have a theory: possibly optimus is momentarily switching to the integrated GPU for some reason, and then switching returned?
