Why do the conservatives complain about government programs that are suppose to help our needy?

Red states take more tax money back from federal budgets than they pay in.They have no room to criticize government programs,especially when their states benefit the most.

oh goodness do you have that wrong...both liberals and conservatives complain about the programs because there are so many people defrauding the system, people who shouldn't be on the programs, and people who really need the programs who can't get on them because of a simple technicality. It's not just the conservitives...there are alot of americans who could use those programs right now but can not get help...however they can be homeless and hungry ...while other people can sit on their butts cause they are too lazy to work and take away from the very needy...it's both parties complaining...not just one party!

Terrorism doesn't exist. Liberals have become fascist hypocrites. Obama is worse than Bush. Two-social gathering politics is an illusion designed to preserve you from settling on the actual enemy, the federal government.

These people are broadly split into two groups: those that simply dislike welfare programs and those who dislike welfare programs that they perceive as either not being useful to the situation at hand or not doing enough to help the poor. I fall into that latter group, I feel that welfare for the poor should be left to non for profit groups that actually work for the poor instead of the state that insists on insuring everyone is poor.

They only complain about programs that don't help them directly. So if they are on unemployment, then that's a fine program, but if someone else is on food stamps, then it's a bad program. And most of them aren't aware that there are more people on assistance in red states than in blue states.

I notice that you provided a link to these "records".

California and New York, both liberal states consume the most social welfare of any states.

In fact you would need add all of the welfare recipients of 13 "conservative" states to equate to California and New York's numbers.

Try using facts next time.

Edit: You do realize of course that neither of the articles you've cited support your claim that people in Conservative states collect more from government aid.

Because they don't work. Rather than getting people out of poverty, these programs trap recipients into a life of dependency.

because conservatives are selfish and greedy people. If it doesn't effect them they don't care. conservatives also tend to be more stupid

Have you ever noticed that the more liberals change things the worse things get? And then they want to make more changes that make it worse.
