Why can I only run backwards in dreams?

I sometimes have these dreams where I am running away from something or someone and at first I try to run forwards like I normally would in real life, but I can never run fast, so I always end up turning around and running backwards so that I can run faster. Why would it be that I can't run fast forwards and can only run backwards??

Update:

By turning around, I mean I turn around and keep running in the same direction so my back is facing the direction I am moving

    my best guess is your mind is trying to look back and remember something, while at the same time moving forward with your life. if you try to move forward without remembering where you came from, it can hinder your path?

    If you "end up turning around", then you are not running backwards are you? You turned around so now you are running forwards. The same way you are facing.

    To dream of working (forwards or backwards) means which you're in touch in a undertaking (or criminal duty) from which you will prefer to flee; try speaking it over with an in depth buddy in the previous it spirals uncontrolled
