I'm the youngest one, and yes I had (and still do) cover up for my older sister. I usually have her back when she's in trouble or needs help, when our mom and dad get mad at her for coming late. (Late as in coming home past midnight almost every school night lol)

Years ago, my family was fishing. There was this creepy man in his 50s or 60s, with several kids toys and he was trying to lure my little brother with the toys. When I noticed this, I called him over when the man had his back turned and told him to stay away from him as he could have kidnapped him. I didn't tell my parents cuz I was scared of what he'd do. I was around 10 or 11..

My mom used to beat me black and blue for the littlest things, or scream at me so loud that my ears would ring and her face would turn beat red.

She was very religious and would use "God" as a way to make me feel bad.

If I forgot to take out the trash she would say "God hates lazy kids like you," and stuff like that.

Luckily she treated my 9-years-younger brother the opposite, except one morning...

She bathed him until he was like 7, but one day he was complaining that the water was "too hot."

I could hear her screaming and slapping him echo throughout the bathroom.

I was in the kitchen, on my way to tech school, trying to ignore it... finally his crying and begging for mercy got to me...

I slammed the plate of breakfast I had so hard on the counter that it shattered to pieces...

She stormed out of the bathroom like some confused freak, full of both anger and confused that someone MAY have stood up to her, breathing really hard and so confused that it looked like her eyes were crossing with her uncontrolled anger.

I yelled, "IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO THIS AT LEAST WAIT UNTIL I LEAVE!!!!"

She beat the freakin' crap out of me.

I couldn't hit her back. I was an 18-year-old male verses a 5'2" (but bloodthirsty) Asian lady.

    That childhood was hell.

That calls for a few shots of whiskey now.

Thanks for bringing back that foul memory!

(Not your fault. I'm just joking about that last part.)

I would die for them, and I have hurt others for them.

the craziest was when I was in my second year of High School, I brought my little brother in to buy his books freshman year, whilst i was still in line to pay for my books some boys who got in line behind me started laughing about the freshman down the hall they just pushed around and tossed and messed up his books, for some reason I knew they were talking about my brother and I lost it and Slugged the biggest of all three and kicked him in the crotch, and then slammed my handful of books into the boy next to him, the crowd parted and let me through and I went and found my brother who was in the process of collecting his books.

this event kind of put me on some kind of black list at school and i was not one of the popular girls, but hell I was never going to see these people again in my life after graduation.

WOW! :] in trouble-free terms mistake i got here across became in paragraph seven, "loosing it" is spelled incorrect. Its meant to be "dropping it"... Your a stable author, in basic terms attempt to describe a teensy bit extra... Like, as an occasion, the place they're, how they look, and so on...

One time me and my brother were downstairs alone and we thought someone was breaking in we both ran towards the steps but I pushed him into a wall to make sure I made it up first

I am very protective of my little sister. Our father died when I was 19 and her mother ( my stepmother) bailed so I adopted my sister. It's been a year and she is a happy healthy five year old.

  • Hmm...I stayed up until 5 am to cover for my brother who snuck out.

    He still owes me.

Told my brother to not eat food off the cement when we were little. That's about it.
