3 way remote switch for florescent lights?
I have florescent lights in my Walkout basement with a switch at the top of the stairs. I would like to be able to turn them on/off with a switch at the door to the yard without adding any wiring. There are plenty of wireless switches for incandescent bulbs (such as this one http://www.amazon.com/Heath-Zenith-BL-6133-WH-Solu... but not florescent. Does anyone know of a solution?
I already know the standard switches for incandescent only will not work. The GE Z wave switches still need standards 3 way wiring. They then provide the ability to control those switches with home automation controllers. They do not do what I need according to the manual.

NO !!!!
That Switch Use An Internal Circuitry Modified Sine Wave. It Only Works on Incandescent Lights.
You Need The Switch That Works For Incandescent And Fluorescent Lighting.
This Is What You Need To Buy At The Same Price Range.

In response to Jim W: don't count on this switch for fluorescent lights. Read the user reviews at the bottom of the Amazon page.
This type of switch often needs a tiny trickle of current to operate the radio receiver, and the solid-state switch. It's hard to make that work if the only load is a fluorescent light ballast.

If you read the fine print at the bottom of that ad you will see it will operate any wired light of less than 500 watts for incandescent lights. Fluorescent lights have a smaller electrical draw for the light they put out. That switch should work.
