Why should i obey my parents?

eh because they love you and they are the only parents you got. think about it someone has to love and obey them, so just humor them and do it. youd regret if you didnt after they passed.

I am a parent of 4 sons. I took care of them when they were sick, and yes, there were a few times I got sick from caring for them. I am so thankful to God that they never had much more than the flu and have been healthy all of their lives. My husband and I do so much for these boys and we love them dearly. Nothing means more to us than their success. We try to guide them when they need it and sometimes we give unwanted advice but it is only because we want to help them avoid pain. Their welfare means more to us than it does to any other living soul. I would hope that after all has been done for them, that if I were sick, they might not mind helping out a little. Not because of a commandment, but because they were motivated by love and sympathy. Some people need to be commanded and others just know the right thing to do and do it without a commandment.

Some people are thankful and see the good in their lives and others are indignant and always complain and curse God.

It's a choice.

So the answer is, "Because you love them."

In the bible says if you honor your father and your mother you will live a long life

If you're over 18 and a bachelor, you don't have to do anything they tell you. Tell them no and if they come over to your place, tell them to go back home if they don't like it.

While you're under their roof, their word is LAW. Now shut up and stare into the blue diamond...
