Pregnancy and Knotts Berry Farm/Disneyland?

Question

Hi all, I just found out this weekend I am pregnant and am taking my 7 year old niece to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm next week. I have called two doctors, who will not see me until after January 8th because they don't want to see me until I am 8 weeks pregnant. The first doctor I spoke to said I can ride anything I want because the baby is very small and protected. The second doctor told me no large rides. When I inquired further as to why I am getting conflicting opinions about what my restrictions are, the second doctor told me they don't suggest it "just in case" I really want my niece to have a great time but don't want to jeopardize my pregnancy. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Cali, while I am sorry for your sister and will take what you have said into consideration, consulting two physicians who have two different opinions is not putting my needs before that of my child, but thanks for throwing that little jab in there, that was particularly nice of you.

The second doctor is being overly cautious. 
While it is possible that a ride can cause a miscarriage, it's also possible that you will find a winning lottery on the ground worth millions of dollars. The odds of either one happening are very slim.

its not safe to ride certain rides it puts the fetus at risk and you at risk for a miscarriage put the safety of your baby first not your own needs or your niece you can still have a good time just dont ride the rides that take off really fast like roller coasters just stick to simple rides besides your niece my still be a little short to ride some of the rides
