Just installed a Seagate Barracuda as a second hard drive. Now what?

Question

I just installed a 1TB hdd as a secondary storage device for my games. I went into diskwizard and went into "add new disk", set it up as GPT and everything but it's not showing in My Computer. Prior to setting everything up I had gone into the BIOS and it was picking up a second drive.

If you need more information let me know.

What o/s ? type compmgmt.msc in run and go to disk management in storage and initiliaze the new drive

Edit:5)Yes Assign a Drive letter (you can change drive letter later anytime)
 6)Format the drive to  NTFS volume
set allocation to default

If you bought it as a "Bare drive", it won't be formatted and you'll need to format the drive before it can be used. 

To format it, open Control Panel, right click on the new drive and select Format. You'll want to use the NTFS file system for Windows operating systems.

you're able to outline one hard drive as carry close on an same IDE port and the different as slave. or you get an hardware conflict.. in case you take advantage of the 2d IDE port for defineing the older hard drive also as carry close so that you're able to delete the boot sector and the former systemsoftware from this hard drive that the gadget won't be able to grip in this and makes himself a conflict with 2 paralell put in structures. i'm hoping i replaced into clean sufficient
