Is it too wierd to say this?

I walked outside today to see that the snow was removed from my driveway by the neighbors across the street today. They are two dudes that are friends but we haven't hung out in awhile. They were outside on their driveway when they said "hey, we shoveled your driveway".  I was feeling good and very thankful for their kind deed and I said "I'm going to give you a kiss".  Was this too odd for a guy to say to another guy?  I'm not homophobic at all but was that a bit odd for me to have said?

yea, that was indeed odd. A "thanks guys" would have been the right thing to say.

If it makes you feel better, it would have also been weird for a girl to say it.

"I could kiss you guys", would have show them your appreciation and you all would have laughed, because you all know that is just an expression, and no kisses will be distributed amongst you.

"I am going to give you a kiss" however, does sound a little off between males.

I don't know you, so I don't know if that was a huge difference from how you normally speak and behave.

if they were not gay, and you were joking and laughing when you saud it  I think its fine, Im a girl and I do it to my friends but Im just joking.

They may have been joking or they may be, gay or both
