Holiday Help, Anyone?
Hi there! As everyone knows (unless you live under a rock..) Christmas was yesterday. And like all others with a soul, I have been over indulging. On Christmas eve I ate about 2,000 extra calories, on Christmas I ate about 2,000 extra calories, and today I ate about 600 extra calories. How many pounds am I going to gain from all of this overeating? And what are some tips on losing the weight? Thanks in advance! :)

1 lb of fat= 3500 calories. Assuming you calculated correctly, and assuming you were calorically neutral before (getting just as many as you need), You will have gained 1.33 lbs approximately.
To lose that weight have a 500 calorie daily deficit. In just over a week, you'll have made up for it. Weigh your food so you know how much you're getting. Always remember that the fleeting taste of delicious food always begs for more of it's destructive nature. You can't just have a little and be satisfied. You need it over and over to fulfill your desires. It's best to just only eat healthy, usually bland foods (though not all healthy food tastes horrible, it doesn't have the enhanced addictive properties of the standard US diet).
Talk to a doctor before starting a diet or workout program.

It really depends on if you're using the calories that you eat. If you burn off like 75% of what you ate, you won't gain much. If anything.
