Cedar Park and Austin both share a border at the North end of the City of Austin. Cedar Park is considered a suburb of Austin. If you look at this map of Austin, Cedar Park is NNW of where 183 meets State Highway 45. There is a major shopping mall and district on the NW corner of 183 & 45.

They are "grown together." The map site below says 20 miles...that may be from the center of one to the center of the other, but I can't tell when going from one to the other. Austin is a BIG, spread out city.

It is a major Suburb of Austin
It borders Austin to the NorthWest but is still about 15 miles away from Austin

CP is north of Austin and it is growing very fast and has alot to do there without ever going into ATX. It is between 20 to 26 miles from Austin
