MacBook Air 13" Or MacBook Pro 13"?

I'm looking at getting one of these two laptops and I'm wonder if the MacBook Air will be good for what I want it to do or will I need to go with the MacBook Pro.

I'd use the laptop to do movie editing with Final Cut Pro and watching HD videos online. I will multitask, such as having a video rendering in Final Cut Pro while watching a video online and have a few other tabs open, such as google, facebook, twitter etc... I also do some light gaming, I play games like CrossFire, Garry's Mod (G-Mod), Team Fortress 2, A.V.A and other light games like those.

My MacBook Air setup would be

Processor - 1.8GHz Intel Dual-Core Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz

Graphics Chip - Intel HD Graphics 4000

Memory - 4GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM

Hard Drive - 256GB Flash Storage

- Price - 2018.94$

Setup for the MacBook Pro -

Processor - 2.5GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz

Graphics Chip - Intel HD Graphics 4000

Memory - 8GB 1600MHz memory

Hard Drive - 256GB flash storage

- Price - 2596.44$

Price wise, I would much prefer the Air, but will it do what I want it to do and will it do it well?

Update:

I don't really care if the Air doesn't have a CD drive

lots relies upon on 2 or 3 issues. how lots money do you may desire to spend? which will help be certain which 2 or 3 you ought to use. i like the Air. First it rather is rapid, it rather is extremely easy and it rather is no longer all that high priced. the only subject people have with it rather is the shortcoming of a disk force. despite the fact that I rather have 2 exterior drives, the two are astounding burners and the two have been low priced. in addition they got here with their own Mac Drivers. I rather have exterior HD, to the music of 2tb and exterior zip force and exterior floppy force. whether it rather is exterior I have been given it. different than being hit with dumb stick as quickly as I went Mac paying for some months in the past i could have been the owner of an Air. I own a MacBook professional (intel of direction), it rather is rapid, aluminum, heavier than i'm able to hold now days so I loaned it to a chum who mandatory an intel MacBook. She is in seventh heaven, loves the fee, the ports, the means to apply VOIP. She is a videographer, does impressive artwork. She loves the heavy accountability computing potential over the G5 she has been utilising. MacBook (classic), own 2 of those, (no youngsters), one on everlasting loan and the different is an element of my domicile herd (4 in style). I rather have this years MacBook. it rather is waiting for Lion, already has the exciting touchpad, it rather is working at 2.4ghz, whats up while i began out with mac and one went to 7mhz, so i'm extra advantageous than pleased with the fee and potential, plus i'm getting hours of use, generally 0730 plus hours. So i'm extra advantageous than overjoyed different than that it does not have firewire. there's a artwork around, so i'm no longer all that afflicted via it. i think of the classic could desire to deal with something college could desire to toss out. some call for a particular OS style software, yet Macs run the two Mac and domicile windows natively, so i do no longer see that as a topic. U in simple terms get boot camp, stick to the learning and get a partition and positioned domicile windows interior the partition. have exciting in school
