What would Bram Stoker think if he were alive today?

He wrote the original "Dracula" and now Stephanie Meyers' trash novels have gotten so many youth wanting to be these non-existent creatures because they are girls who are hot for Robert Pattinson or socially awkward guys that can't get a date even with the plain girls. Is Bram Stoker turning over in his grave?

He would be so shock when he sees the movie 'Twilight', we, vampires do not fall in love with a human. He would say that the move Twilight is rubbish and hell be very disappointed, so he'll decided to eat Bella and Edward. :p

Bram Stoker would be a bit surprised to know that some young people want to be vampires - his Dracula was quite scary, with hairy palms and unpleasantly smelly breath, and after drinking blood he looked hideously red and swollen, like a giant leach - he didn't sparkle at all. However I don't think Bram would have worried about these new vampires.

He wrote a great many other books besides DRACULA, and he might be a little sorry that those have been more or less forgotten, but his chief interest was the theatre, and he worked for years as the business manager of Sir Henry Irving, one of the greatest actors of the nineteenth century, and the first actor to be knighted. DRACULA was first filmed in 1922, unfortunately after Stoker's death, but I think he would have liked vampire films, and if he were alive today he might well have been writing scripts and involved in film production.

Bram Stoker would be happy his family got some money out of it and wish they had gotten more. Dracula was his best book -- Lair of the White Worm and Jewel of the Seven Stars are probably worse than anything Stephanie Meyer ever wrote and that is something he would be well aware of.

Bran Stoker would probably hate Stephanie Meyer, to say the least. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the "Twilight" books or films, but Bram Stoker made vampires terrifying monsters, and now Stephanie has turned them into sparkly, romantic softies.

i think that Bram stoker would have difficulty imagining something of such kindness and would not be turning in his grave but try to figure out how Stephanie Meyers came up with such an idea of the vampires in this day and age. if you believe in vampire or not most legend tell of them wanting love but never getting it because they are so dangerous.

I'm inclined to consider some of those who have answered before me. He would chuckle and stake her. Stoker may have been plenty of matters, but he used to be the creater of the usual vampire novel. Additionally, Twilight do not need finished so good, due to the fact that there would have been more vampire novels from Stoker.
