Has Christopher Lee ever commented on the "Twilight" garbage?
Somehow I get the idea that the talented British actor who resurrected the Dracula character for the Hammer Films would NOT agree with sparkly vampires that run around in the daylight. Has Mr. Lee ever commented on the "Twilight" series?
@Jake No Chat: I agree that Mr. Lee has been in some stinkers himself, but thankfully his reputation is not based on those stinkers. One particularly BAD STINK BOMB he made a cameo appearance in as a vampire was "The Magic Christian" starring Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr. Lee's vampire is actually SEEN IN A MIRROR by a female passenger on a cruise ship. This movie, like the vampire, SUCKS!
@Diane: Are you KIDDING me!? You're saying that if something is POPULAR then that automatically makes it GOOD!? Listen to some of the pop music of the last 50 years. Much of what was popular at a certain time is considered crap in retrospect! The same goes for movies! You think that "Twilight" is "epic" do you? I've actually read some real epics ("Beowulf" and "The Odyssey") and while they are considered boring by most contemporary readers (myself included, by the way) I can honestly say that compared to actual epics "Twilight" isn't even in the ballpark!

Not that I've ever seen.
But Christopher Lee was the coolest and most awesome of all the vampires. He soooo tops the silly Twilight ones.

I have not heard any comments coming from him, but I do not think he would be impressed. He is a great actor and has had many memorable roles. But even the great CL has been involved with a couple of stinkers along the way (such as Honeymoon Academy from 1989). He is probably a class act and would not comment harshly in any case, probably just say something like it was not his cup of tea or balderdash.

I don't think so. Stephen King has. From other author of that genre, they seem to say "Yeah I read it but didn't follow" or "No comment" (or they step around it)
I dare say it is because he is not in the target audience (under 20 females)
