Is chocolate dangerous to squirrells?
I have some chocolate nut clusters that I got that I don't want. I was going to put them out for the squirrels because they are nuts BUT if chocolate is dangerous for them (like it is for dogs), then I won't. Does anyone know?

I wouldn't give them the chocolate because believe it or not chocolate is slightly poisonous. The only reason we can eat it is because our bodies can cope but animals can't cope so well. Just be on the safe side and don't give the squirrels the chocolate, but I'm sure some nuts will be very appreciated by them!
