Is the world really going to end on Dec 21st?

You are a little late on this one.

1. You do realize that Dec 21 was over a week ago?

2. Nostradamus said nothing about the Mayan calendar, he said nothing about the world ending, he said nothing about Nibiru. Nostradamus wrote quatrains that are so vague they could mean anything. The one people say is his prediction the world would end A WEEK AGO is "The great star for seven days will burn, The cloud will make two suns appear: The great mastiff will be all night howling, When the great pontiff changes his land".

Do you see anything in there about the world ending, an ancient calendar, or a planet?

3. Why would a calendar running out mean the world ends? Our calendar runs out every Dec 31 - the Mayan calendar simply reset to a new cycle on 12/21.

4. Its a shame they don't teach any science in schools anymore - or how to read a calendar either.

Yes. The cosmic alignments in the galaxy will cause not only the end of the world, but the mindwipe of billions to think that the date has already passed and that we are safe. We are not. Earth will reach a distance so near our sun that the sun's heat will melt Earth's crust and make us fall into the abyss in an apocalyptic event, causing the end of the world.

First World Problems

First of all, today is December 27TH, 2012. According to the Bible, the world will end when no one expects it. Nostradamus does not know. Jesus does not know. Only GOD knows. The world could end right now, after I finish writing this, tomorrow or in 2 million years!!!! But the world WILL end someday..

It's quite late to be asking this question. It's the 27th already. But if you mean the 21st of December next year, no. There will be a time when the world will end, but no living creation is aware of when that day will be.

Dec 21st was almost a week ago and yet the world is still here, in fact we've even had Christmas and struggling to find room for all the turkey sandwiches and safe and secure in the knowledge that we're still here.
