Styles and bangs for long, straight hair?
My hair length is mid- to lower-back and it's very straight. I don't really want to get it cut because i like the way it looks. But i do want some ideas of ways to style it (braids, buns, whatever) day-to-day. Also, i was thinking of getting bangs of some kind because when i pull my hair back, my face looks fat; something to frame it would be nice. I don't like the only two styles of bangs i find when i search Google, which are the kind that go all the way across one's forehead (I don't want to deal with that) and the side-swept bangs (They don't flatter me).
If you have any ideas with links to examples, they would be greatly appreciated.
Also, i've considered doing what i used to do in middle school, which is trimming strands of hair on one or both sides of my face, but i don't want it to look like i'm just in that awkward stage of trying to grow out bangs. Is there any way to pull that off?
I don't care about what's fashionable or popular; if i like it and think it looks good, i'm happy.

Curl it with a flat iron or curling wand or hair curler with some neat curls then get a side bang you can feather it if you dont know how to do it you can go on youtube and it will teach you how to do both in lots of different styles so that should help you.
