Playa de los Pocillos, Lanzarote..?
What is the next nearest resort?
Thanks, quite a few years now since we have been to Lanzarote so presume a new area for holiday property.

It is actually a suburb of Puerto del Carmen, the main resort on the island.

Playa de Los Pocillos, Puerto del Carmen. This area is between the resort of Matagorda and Puerto del Carmen. The long Los Pocillos beach is the bay between PDC and Matagorda. There is a small area of shops, bars, restaurants and bazaars. The promenade is ideal for a good long walk, there are also cycle lanes and shops where you can hire bikes if you're feeling sporty.
To walk into Puerto del Carmen from Los Pocillos would take approx. 10 -15 mins depending on how fast you walk, or a short taxi ride depending on the area of PDC that you are going to wouldn't cost more than €5.00
There are also regular buses along that area of the resort, this form of transport is cheap.
Matagorda also has plenty of bars, shops and restaurants.
